Lyle Vincent is the cinematographer of the Web TV Series “Bright Falls” which was created as a live-action prequel to the highly anticipated xbox video game “Alan Wake”. The director of the series is Phillip Van (Little Minx/RSA) and the advertising agency is agencytwofifteen (previously part of T.A.G). “Bright Falls” is a six part series and each episode is about five minutes. The game and thus the series is a highly atmospheric psychological thriller and is influenced by David Lynch’s Twin Peaks/Blue Velvet, the TV show Lost, and the work of Stephen King. The series were released sporadically on Youtube and Xbox Live a few weeks before the game’s release in mid May of 2010. It was very popular online and many bloggers on the game’s forums wanted to see it turned into a longer form TV show or movie. It was also often noted for its cinematography and masterful storytelling.
